History
Established in 1968, Hartzell’s Pharmacy is an independent family-owned pharmacy located in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. We are located in the Lehigh Valley Area, approximately 90 minutes northwest of Philadelphia and 2 hours southwest of New York City. Clinical services offered at Hartzell’s Pharmacy include immunization and travel medicine clinics, medication therapy management, health and wellness services, durable medical equipment, and CPAP services. Hartzell’s also offers medication services to assisted living facilities and specialty compounding services. Clinical staff includes clinical and compounding pharmacists.
Meet The Team
ROBERT E. HARTZELL JR., R.PH., CCN
Founder of Hartzell's Pharmacy Inc., Bob is a graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy. He attended programs in nutritional products and supplements offered by various pharmacy groups. Bob received a certification in Osteoporosis screenings. He achieved Pharmacist Care Diplomat Certification training, and is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist. In October 2012, Mr. Hartzell stepped down as president of the company. He is still very active in the organization, serving as a special adviser to the current administration and management team and conducting nutritional consultations.
VINCENT A. HARTZELL, PHARM.D.
Vince graduated Wilkes University's Nesbitt School of Pharmacy in May 2005 and served his post-doctorate residency at Leesburg Pharmacy in Northern Virginia. Vince is on the national faculty for the American Pharmacists Association's Immunization Delivery Certificate Program. In 2009, Vince was awarded APhA's Immunization Champion Award for Individual Practitioner and PAIC Immunization Champion for his contributions to increase access to immunizations.
KRISTEN M. HARTZELL, PHARM. D.
Kristen is a 2006 graduate of Wilkes University’s Nesbitt School of Pharmacy and completed her postgraduate residency in Primary Care Practice at Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Kristen focuses on the management of hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, adult immunizations and oversees the Hartzell's Pharmacy CDC-recognized Diabetes Prevention Program.
Kristen is currently a CPESN (Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network) Luminary and serves on the Board of Managers for CPESN. Kristen also serves on the Board of Directors for PPCN (Pennsylvania Pharmacists Care Network. Kristen participates as a coach in the CPESN/PPCN Flip the Pharmacy Initiative.
MEGAN GRAVER, PHARM. D.
Megan graduated from Wilkes University in 2011 and has worked in community pharmacy for over 10 years. Megan has completed Delivery of Enhance Patient Services through PPCN and has been an immunizing pharmacist for 10 years.
TRISH VECCHIO M.S., B.S., COMPLIANCE OFFICER & DME DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Trish is the Hartzell's Pharmacy Compliance Officer and HME Director of Operations. Trish oversees the Home Medical Department and acts as a liaison between the Pharmacy and Long Term Care Facilities. She received her Masters Degree in 2017 from Capella University and attended DeSales University for her undergraduate degree.
AMY LAMIE, R.PH PHARMACIST
Amy has been working at Hartzell's Pharmacy since 1997, and is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She is the primary pharmacist that staffs our Long-Term Care Pharmacy Division. Amy is also certified to administer immunizations.
